When you register for Nudgify, you will be prompted to create your first Nudge. You can create your first Nudge in three simple steps:
- Choose a Nudge
- Configure your Nudge
- Display your Nudge
Step 1: Choose a Nudge
You can choose a Nudge from the Nudge library, in which you can find all the Nudges we offer.
We filter the Nudges in the library depending on the industry of your website (e.g. eCommerce, SaaS). If you cannot find the Nudge you need, try selecting a different industry filter.
Just click on a Nudge to add it. A configuration screen will open now.
Step 2: Configure your Nudge
Each Nudge has configuration option that are specific for that Nudge.
Some Nudges use real time data, for example the Purchase Nudge. In the configuration step, you need to select and activate one of our integration options to connect the data required for the Nudge. You need to connect a data source in order to continue.
You can find the configuration options for each Nudge type in the dedicated documentation page of each Nudge. See the overview of the Nudge specific documentation.
Once you have connected data if required for your Nudge, and chosen the settings you want, you can click Continue.
Step 3: Display your Nudge
You now need to choose where you want to display your Nudge:
- On which page(s)
- On which devices
Enter the URL(s) of the page(s) you want to display your Nudge on. If you would like to show your Nudge on multiple pages, or even all pages, you can use our wildcard option: *. Read more about our URL targeting options.
Then choose which devices you would like to display the Nudge on.
Click Continue to add your first Nudge!
Remember that some Nudges collect real-time data from your website. This means that it can take a while for them to appear on your website. For example, a Recent Purchase Nudge will only appear if you have purchases to show. You can check if your data is coming through to Nudgify in your Data Feeds.
