Note: This is our “best judgement” response to customers considering whether or not to disclose the use of Nudgify in their privacy policy.
Nudgify is a web app that provides persuasive notifications to your website in order to increase engagement. Nudgify also helps you to get a higher conversion rate. To do this, Nudgify collects visitors’ data. This can for example be a recent customers’ first name and location, or the number of people who have viewed an item. Nudgify then presents this to visitors in the form of notifications.
You may want to be transparent about the way we collect and use this data. On top of that, we would recommend explaining how your customers can opt out of Nudgify’s services. If so, you can include a short clause in your privacy policy, that is formulated something like the following:
We use Nudgify.com, a marketing tool which may collect non-identifiable information about your website visitors in order to personalise their browsing experience or to provide social proof and stock prediction messages. Nudgify uses cookies to track visits and browser data to collect the information.
